Visitor Information

Directions:

There are several access points to the refuge. The Refuge Headquarters and boardwalk are located immediately south of Route 64 at the Scuppernong River Bridge in Columbia. The Pungo Unit can be accessed by taking Hwy 45 and 99 south of Plymouth, continuing on 45 southeast to the refuge entrance. Another access point is located south of Shore Drive which is south of Roper, Creswell, and Lake Phelps.
